Resin river tables are a unique and eye-catching piece of furniture that is growing in popularity. These tables are a combination of natural wood and a clear resin that is poured into the gaps in the wood, creating a stunning “river” that appears to flow through the center of the table.

The process of creating a resin river table involves several steps. The first step is to select a piece of wood that will be used for the table. The wood should be dry, flat and have a lot of character. Once the wood is selected, it is then cut to size and sanded smooth.

Next, the wood is sealed with a coat of epoxy resin to prevent air bubbles from forming when the river is poured. Once the epoxy has dried, a form is built around the edges of the table to contain the resin. This form is usually made out of foam or plastic.

Once the form is in place, the clear resin is mixed with a hardener and poured into the space between the wood. Different colors can be added to the resin to create a custom look. For example, blue dye can be added to create a river that looks like water.

We can build bespoke river tables to our customers specification using any kind of wood e.g. walnut, oak, olive etc and use the highest quality resin and pigments with a wide selection of beautiful colors.
